The office is now closed to the public. You can contact members of staff in normal office hours by telephone and email. It is still important that you provide records for the completion of accounts and tax returns in order to meet filing and tax payment deadlines. Although reception is closed we can make arrangements to receive records if you telephone the office in advance. Normal mail is still being accepted, as are hand delivered items via the mailbox. However, there will not be any staff in the office after 23rd December. We anticipate returning on 4th January subject to whatever Covid-19 guidance is in place at that time.
Self Assessment filing deadlines for 2020 tax returns remain unchanged with a final due date of 31st January 2021.
For clients concerned with self assessment payments HMRC have confirmed that on line requests will be accepted to spread outstanding liabilities through 2021 although interest will be charged.
Companies House have confirmed that filing extensions for company accounts have been automatically extended by three months.
The implementation of new IR35 rules has been delayed until 2021.
